Evernote login with google account7/1/2023 That said, I think that's still better than what would come from a Microsoft or Oracle acquisition. Of course, they could always just buy it and mangle it beyond recognition or strip it for parts, which would clearly suck, as you're hinting. My dream situation would be for them to introduce some heavy cloud integration to Google Drive and then open source it, but I doubt that would ever come to pass. In a situation like that, and given some of the recent acquisition fumbles they've had, I think they'd be less likely to totally fubar a well-defined product like Evernote, especially if it would free up developers from some of their related sinkholes, like Google Note. Perhaps Evernote is getting confused between a Google Account's email address and a previously-registered Gmail address of the same name. I suspect that they're looking to become on the enterprise front end what Oracle/SAP is on the back end, with less attitude and bad karma. As someone else suggested, try reset password and then 'link' the two accounts, the gmail address and the Google account. With many of their recent restructuring decisions, they're showing an interest in developing their enterprise line to have a stronger offering. Just curious to know if anyone else has the same suspicions. My thought from an Evernote standpoint would be "why put more R&D money into our product if Google is going to buy us out anyway?" ![]() It may also explain the 'stagnation' by Evernote that people on this sub are complaining about. I suspect if they are in talks with Google, they are trying to boost some internal metrics by curtailing certain features for free users. I've been a premium user for several years, and I've been pretty happy with the service, but I didn't think what Evernote did to the free users was very smart from a PR standpoint. ![]() Whether they maintain the 'Evernote' brand is up in the air. I suspect that Google will ultimately acquire Evernote within a year or two. Maybe other companies do this as well, and it's just efficient, but it LOOKS to me like a slow train to Googleville. ![]() Now, we see Evernote supporting Google Drive Integration, and the ability to sign into Evernote using you Google account. Over the past few years we've seen Google try to compete with OneNote and Evernote with Keep, and, from what I can tell, Keep doens't really compare.
